Mrs Bunmi Oke, the advertising icon and a former president of Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria (AAAN) was recently said to quit 141 Advertising agency, but it wasn’t certain she was heading as she had kept her plans away from the media.
Investigations have however confirmed that the ever smiling and much respected woman in the industry, Bunmi Oke has founded a new marketing Communications agency known as Ladybird Limited.
Bunmi Oke, is making plans to unveil the Ladybird Limited agency with her team in few weeks. This will include the company’s vision, brand values, business model differentials, mission and many more.
In line with her stance, Bunmi opted to leave at the end of July with the blessings of the board of 141 Limited to pursue “other God giving professional dreams, goals and aspirations because there is a time for everything.”
Aside from her stint in advertising , Oke has been involved in developing ideas that raised and built capacities for women in Nigeria, hence her full involvement in the NGO, Women in Business(WIMBIZ) while the Federal Government in 2014, nominated her as a delegate to the National Conference organised the President Goodluck Jonathan administration.
